Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the appointment of Bheki Shongwe as Group Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Shongwe will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the club and will report directly to Chairman Dr Kaizer Motaung and the board.
The former Managing Director returns to Naturena, where he previously served between 2009 and 2012. He also has prior experience within the club’s leadership structures as a board member.
In his new role, Shongwe is expected to oversee key operational functions and work closely with departmental heads as part of the club’s broader restructuring process.
The appointment comes as Chiefs continue efforts to strengthen their executive leadership and improve stability across all areas of the organisation.
