The Festival of Motoring will bring South Africa’s automotive industry together at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from 28 to 30 August.
The 2026 event will feature more than 100 exhibitors, track experiences, off-road activities and several new vehicle debuts.
Now in its ninth year, the Festival of Motoring has become one of South Africa’s largest industry-supported automotive events. It brings together manufacturers, enthusiasts and prospective car buyers over three days.
This year’s theme, “Driven by Purpose. Defined by Legacy.”, will frame an event that goes beyond static vehicle displays.
Visitors will have access to track experiences, self-handling courses and a dedicated 4×4 off-road track. There will also be automotive products, services, lifestyle offerings and custom builds.
One of the manufacturers using the event to introduce new products is iCAUR South Africa. The V27 will make its first public appearance in the country.
The V27 will sit at the top of the local iCAUR range. It follows the design direction established by the V23.
Power comes from a range-extender electric powertrain. It combines a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine, a 34.3 kWh battery and two electric motors producing a combined 339 kW.
iCAUR quotes an electric driving range of 150 km and a total range of more than 1,000 km. The dual-motor V27 is also claimed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in five seconds.
Pre-orders for the V27 will open during the Festival of Motoring. Local pricing, derivatives and delivery timing will be announced separately.

The brand will also display the 03T REEV at Kyalami. This will give visitors an early look at another range-extender model planned for the South African market.
“The V27 is a significant vehicle for us, but we did not want its first public appearance to be a static reveal,” said Shannon Gahagan, National Brand and Marketing Manager at iCAUR and OMODA & JAECOO South Africa.
“Festival of Motoring gives people time to see the car properly, spend time with the range and get behind the wheel.”
The Festival will also provide the backdrop for the announcement of a long-term partnership between iCAUR and Red Bull.
The companies have planned a programme of joint events. Further details are expected to be announced over the coming months.
Beyond the vehicles, iCAUR will run several activations around the venue. These include a Game Pass linking different brand experiences, a merchandise prize activation and on-site T-shirt printing.
Visitors will also be able to register for drives in selected iCAUR models.
Manufacturers will use the Festival of Motoring to showcase new products.
The Kyalami event also gives South Africans access to hands-on driving experiences and remains an important meeting point between the automotive industry and consumers.
